chanty.health is published by Chanty, the team chat and collaboration app. The site covers one subject: how clinic and practice staff communicate and coordinate work, and what HIPAA requires of the tools they use.
Who writes it
Content is drafted with the help of AI models from briefs built on Chanty's product documentation and on a researched map of what clinic staff actually search for. Every draft is then fact-checked against primary sources: HHS and the Code of Federal Regulations for HIPAA, vendors' own documentation for product facts. Claims we could not confirm are marked for review instead of being published as fact. An editor reviews each page before it goes live.
What we do not do
- We do not give legal advice. HIPAA pages are educational; decisions about your practice belong to your privacy officer or counsel.
- We do not claim that any tool, including Chanty, makes a practice HIPAA compliant by itself.
- We do not disparage other vendors. Comparisons use the vendors' own current documentation and are dated.
